Let Lucien call customer service for you
Write the question you need answered. Lucien calls the support line, waits through the hold music and recorded messages, picks the menu option that fits, asks your question when a person answers, and sends you the answer with a summary and the transcript.

What Lucien does on a support line
Recorded messages and hold music
Lucien stays silent while an automated message, a hold message or music plays. It only speaks once a real person answers.
Phone menus
When the menu offers an option that clearly matches your question, or an operator, reception or general-enquiries option, Lucien presses that key. It never guesses a department or presses a key the menu did not offer. If the same menu repeats with no option that fits, it ends the call instead of waiting forever, and the result tells you so.
The conversation
Lucien says it is an AI assistant calling on your behalf, asks your questions and stays within your instructions.
The result
You get the answer, a short summary and the full transcript, with a translation if the call was in another language.
Questions it can ask
- Opening hours, delivery times, and return or exchange policies.
- Whether a product is in stock, or when it will be back.
- The status of an order or a repair, when the company will give it from a reference number.
- How to make a complaint or a claim, and which documents are needed.
- Whether a service is available at an address.
- Any of these, to a company in another country and in its language.
Call the appliance store’s customer service and ask whether repair number R-58213 for my washing machine has been completed, and when I can collect it.
What it cannot do
- Pass a security check. If the line asks for a password, a PIN, a date of birth or a code sent to your phone, Lucien will not pretend to be you; you need to call yourself.
- Pay, or give card details.
- Negotiate a dispute live, or accept an offer you did not approve in advance.
- Call emergency, premium-rate or satellite numbers.
- Take a call back. Lucien only places calls; it does not give the company a number to reach you.
Time on hold and cost
Time on hold counts toward the length of the call, so a long queue costs more than a short call. The app shows the estimate before dialling and the final charge afterwards. A call cannot run longer than your credits allow, so a very long queue can end before an agent answers.
As a guide, a 5-minute call to a French landline is about 450 credits, about 0.90 € on the 10 € pack. See the pricing page for other destinations.
Keeping a written record
The transcript shows what you were told and when. It is useful to keep with your own notes if you need to follow up later. A transcript can contain errors and is not a certified record, so check important figures and dates before you rely on them.
If talking to support lines is what you avoid most, see phone anxiety: let Lucien make the call.
Questions and answers
- Can AI wait on hold for me?
- Yes. Lucien listens through hold music and recorded messages and only speaks when a person answers. Time on hold counts toward the call length and cost.
- Can Lucien use phone menus?
- Yes, when the menu offers an option that clearly matches your question, or an operator or general-enquiries option. It never presses a key the menu did not offer.
- Can Lucien call my bank or phone operator about my account?
- Usually not. Those lines check your identity, and Lucien never pretends to be you. Use it for general questions instead.
- Do I get a transcript?
- Yes. Every call comes with the answer, a summary and the full transcript, plus a translation if the call was in another language.
- Can it call a company in another country?
- Yes. Lucien calls more than 200 countries and territories, in 82 languages.
